Sensational picture series about EUROPA

Digital highspeed-drone-video meets analogue art

For three years Leipzig painter ANTOINETTE has been working on her “ALTAR der EUROPA”, a five metre high and twenty metre wide pencil-drawing. For the last part of her work, the painter set up her studio in the Merseburg Castle Garden Parlor. Here, she wants to bring the “Merseburg Incantation Plates” to paper as last part of her piece, which has been inspired by the Merseburg Incantations. In advance she has already viewed the original incantations in the Cathedral Chapter Library. Its most important themes – freedom and healing -, ANTOINETTE will now use for the completion of her piece.

Louis Richter, pilot of a highspeed-drone, has recently filmed and documented ANTOINETTE’s work with a variety of self-made highspeed-drones. Two worlds collide and create magical perspectives as no visitor has seen before. Experience the product of a unique collaboration. ANTOINETTE and her work can still be seen until the end of February 2021.
